Week of Feb 5, 2007

I am traveling again this week. Off to Lexington, KY for a team meeting and won't be home until Wed night. We've got a ton going on and I hate to be away. Amado seems to be learning to wave good bye. What a thrill!

Feb 8: I got home just in time to see my sweet baby take his first steps. Wow, he just grabbed ahold of the dog kennel and before I knew it - he had taken about 6 steps. He just kept going and going and going.

Week of Jan 29, 2007

Amado turns 9 months on Feb 1 so he had his 9-month check up on Friday. He is now 20 lbs 13 oz and 27 inches long. He is 70th percentile in height and 55 in weight. All in all I am very pleased. I got a laugh though because the dr started quizzing me on what I was feeding me and asked if he particularly liked carrots, sweet potatos and other orange food. He does, so I answered as such to his exclamation " that explains the orange tint to his skin". Nice, now I've made an orange kid. Only Rachel Money could manage that.
